Riot Nerd is a Philly-based event production and promotion entity that was established in 2016. We’ve successfully thrown everything from dance parties to live music shows to flea markets to game tournaments and everything in between. We’re passionate about creating a community of like-minded people to keep entertainment alive, safe, and inclusive while also supporting other local event professionals and artists by creating worthwhile opportunities.

About DJ Kira Bandan

Kira Bandan is a multifaceted creative force in Philadelphia’s music and nightlife scene, seamlessly blending her roles as a DJ, model, and business professional. A graduate of Jefferson University and an MBA alumna from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, Kira has cultivated a dynamic presence both behind the decks and beyond. Her journey into DJing began through immersive networking within Philly’s vibrant arts community, where she honed her skills on turntables and CDJs under the mentorship of seasoned professionals. This hands-on experience propelled her into performing at renowned venues such as The Barbary, Silk City, Voyeur, Woody’s, and Underground Arts. She has also held residencies at events like MANEATER and TD2BD at The Barbary, as well as Philadelphia Beyoncé Night with Riot Nerd at Underground Arts. Her performances are characterized by high energy and a deep connection with the crowd, as evidenced by her enthusiastic reflections on events like Beyoncé Night. DJ Kira Bandan continues to shape Philadelphia’s cultural landscape, leaving a lasting impact through her eclectic performances and entrepreneurial spirit.
