PHILLY PASS THE PEACE RALLY LAUNCHES TAKE 5: STOP THE VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN

FreeThe Philly Pass The Peace Rally will be held to launch the TAKE 5: STOP THE VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN with an active response to the need for accessible strategies that promote and support violence de-escalation. The event will highlight a sequence of concerted efforts designed to saturate the City of Philadelphia with a message Proposing Personal Pause, Teaching Tangible Tolerance and Cultivating a Culture of Peace (Count, 1,2,3,4,5 Take 5). The day will also gather Philadelphia’s Community of Peace Workers to celebrate the work done during the United Nations’ International Peace Week. Violence is a pervasive presence in our society. How do we stop its spread, and how can we manage the anger and frustration that can often result in a violent outcome? Philadelphia native Warren Cooper is on a mission to Pass the Peace!
