Open Saturday at Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum
Don’t miss another opportunity to visit Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum on a Saturday! Andalusia will be open Saturday, May 30, from 10am to 5pm, with tours of the Historic House every 30 minutes, as well as special programming.
Andalusia’s beloved Rose Garden will be in bloom, with complimentary Rose Tours included in the cost of admission. Resident Rosarian Heather Schmidt will lead guests through the garden, sharing her expertise on rose care, providing insights into how she tends this stunning display. With over 100 varieties of roses in bloom, you’ll be dazzled by the colors, fragrances, and sheer beauty.
Guests can partake in Yoga in the Gardens, a one-hour Vinyasa Flow style yoga session led by Trina Shumsonk of Atlas Yoga & Movement. Starts at 11am. Additional ticket required.
Artist Jody Graff will be on-site throughout the day for a Q&A with guests discussing her art installation that is on view in conjunction with ‘Radical Americana,’ organized by The Clay Studio. Graff will also have prints and other products for sale.
Lastly, don’t miss our Champagne Garden Tour at 4:30pm led by Horticulturist Kristen Biddle. Join us on the grand porch of the Big House, overlooking the Delaware River, for a glass of champagne and light refreshments, followed by a guided tour of our formal gardens. Additional ticket required.
