Join Us for OIC Philadelphia’s 3rd Annual Alumni & Community Block Party
Friday, August 29 | 3 PM – 7 PM | W. Thompson Street & Broad Street 

OIC Philadelphia invites you to our 3rd Annual Alumni & Community Block Party—a free, spirited celebration honoring the legacy of Reverend Dr. Leon Sullivan and the powerful network that has grown from his vision. Open to alumni, current students, staff, families, and community, this event is a chance to reconnect, celebrate achievements, and enjoy an afternoon filled with food, music, resources, and community.

6abc anchor TaRhonda Thomas will host this year’s block party and will feature live music by the UGO Band, a live broadcast by WURD radio host Solomon Jones, free food prepared by OIC’s current culinary students, resource tables from local organizations, kid-friendly activities, and more. We will also recognize our “Sullivan Champions”—alumni who exemplify OIC’s mission through their professional success and community impact.

Celebrate OIC’s rich history, growing legacy, and continued impact in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Admission is free and all are welcome.
