Newlin’s 250th Celebration: Building America Through Trades and Food

Join us for our 250th celebrations at Newlin Grist Mill through special demonstrations, workshops, make-and-takes, and talks on topics related to the trades that built America and the feeding of a revolution. Demonstrations are ongoing throughout the day. Talks are $10/person or free forĀ members.

- Newlin Speaker Series: Beyond Homespun: Commerce, Culture, and Colonial Cloth. 4-5pm, $10/person, free for members
June 6
- The Munch Box Food Truck, Middle Brother Coffee, Public Archaeology, Kitchen Encounters: Daily Ration Cooking Demonstration, Woodworking Demonstration
- Whittling Workshop. 3-4pm. Ages 12+ $15/person, 8 people max
- Newlin Speaker Series: In Support of the Army: How Women Supported the Continental Army Through Foodways. 4-5pm. $10/person, free for members.
