Meet Elizabeth Oswald Chew

Visit Cliveden and meet Mrs. Elizabeth Oswald Chew, wife of Benjamin Chew and mother to twelve children. Join her in the little parlor to discuss the events of the day, her family and her experiences during the American Revolution.

After speaking with Elizabeth, take a walk through the house to view our new exhibit, Procuring Liberty in the Emerging Nation, and the artwork from Looking Glass, part of Radical Americana.

The program is free and open to visitors of all ages.
