La Placita Fest 2025

I’m excited to introduce La Placita Fest 2025, our second annual multicultural celebration inspired by the vibrant energy of La Placita de Santurce in Puerto Rico. This year’s festival takes place on Sunday, July 20th at Liberty Point by the waterfront in Philadelphia. This event was created by Philly’s own DJ Redz.
* Live music from top local and international bands
* Salsa lessons
* DJs spinning Latin and Afro-Caribbean beats
* Authentic Puerto Rican food vendors
* Artisan and community vendors
* And more immersive cultural experiences
Launched in 2024, the event welcomed a diverse and energetic crowd, and this year promises even more excitement.
