Festival del Jíbaro: A Celebration of Latino Music, Dance, and Culture

Xiente, a nonprofit empowering people to achieve economic mobility, is hosting El Festival del Jíbaro, a free outdoor celebration of the Puerto Rican and Latino cultural legacy of North Philadelphia. From 1- 7PM at Norris Square Park, the festival will feature live music, dancing, local food, artisans, community history, dance competitions, and family-friendly activities. The event is free and open to the public, and programming will occur in English and Spanish. No ticket is required but we’d appreciate registration to plan accordingly:
