SHARP Dance Company, a renowned modern dance company based in Philadelphia, proudly announces its 20th Anniversary Performance and Celebration—an unforgettable evening of dynamic movement, community spirit, and artistic reflection. The event will take place on October 4-5, 2025 at the Mandell Theatre, featuring signature works from the company’s two-decade repertoire alongside a preview of exciting new choreography in development.

Founded and led by Artistic Director Diane Sharp-Nachsin, SHARP Dance Company has spent the past 20 years captivating audiences locally, nationally, and internationally with bold, thought-provoking work that explores the “meaning behind movement.” The company’s performances have graced stages from Philadelphia to Italy, England, and Greece, and SHARP continues to play a vital role in cultivating Philadelphia’s contemporary dance scene.

“This anniversary is more than a celebration—it’s a reflection of the resilience, creativity, and heart that have carried SHARP through two incredible decades,” says Diane. “We’re honored to share this moment with the community that has supported us and inspired us from the very beginning.”

The evening will also highlight DNA, a deeply personal and evolving new project inspired by Diane’s exploration of heritage and identity. This project marks the next chapter in SHARP’s legacy of meaningful storytelling through dance.
