Dog Days of Summer

In advance of National Dog Day, on Thursday, August 24, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, a boutique hotel in Old City, invites locals and hotel guests alike to the return of its “Dog Days of Summer” event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. In partnership with local no-kill animal shelter Saved Me, hotel staff will set up a pop-up puppy boutique curbside at Hotel Monaco and provide dog washes to help furry friends cool off from the heat and look fresh & clean for their holiday. The wash is complimentary, but donations for Saved Me are encouraged and much appreciated. Saved Me will bring adoptable four-legged friends to the event, and Doggie Style, one of the hotel’s favorite local pet shops, will be setting up a treat bar to reward well behaved pups and will also have two gift baskets up for raffle. Washes are first come, first served, but those waiting can get a caricature of themselves and their pet from Caricatures by Courtney.
