ACLU and ACLU of Pennsylvania Hosts RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17 Finale Watch Party at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia in Celebration of Drag Defense Fund

On April 18th, the ACLU and ACLU of Pennsylvania will host a RuPaul’s Drag Race finale watch party at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia’s rooftop bar Stratus Lounge. Local drag queen, influencer and previous competitor on the show Ariel Versace will host the event, providing entertainment and commentary during commercial breaks. Stratus Lounge will offer beverages for sale throughout the show, while event partners LUSH and La Colombe will be providing complimentary gift bags and fun giveaways. The event will have several opportunities for guests to donate to the Drag Defense Fund, a collaboration between World of Wonder, MTV, and RuPaul’s Drag Race to support the ACLU’s fight for LGBTQ+ rights, including combating censorship of drag performers.
