Stand tall and proud to celebrate Black History Month with AAMP’s second youth costume party. On Saturday, February 22nd, AAMP invites our youngest audience members (13 and below) to help us share the excellence of history by dressing as their favorite figure in Black History.
During our celebration in the Jack T. Franklin Auditorium, youth are welcome to join our Wax Museum Activity, where they can strike a pose dressed as their favorite figure in history and tell guests a few fun facts about themselves.
One of our AAMPmazing Learning Through the Arts Workshops facilitators will close the day with a dramatic reading of one of their favorite Black History Heroes.
Be sure to come out and help us celebrate your favorite hero this Black History Month!
