Cuba Libre Celebrating 25 years in Philadelphia With Special Tasting Menus With The Original Prices From 2000
¡Salud! Time to make a toast to Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar. It may be hard to believe but it has been 25 years since Cuba Libre opned its doors in Old City. While many restaurant concepts and chefs have come and gone over the past 25 years, the popular four-city Cuban restaurant brand is celebrating its silver anniversary. “Keeping a restaurant concept fresh for 25 years is a really significant accomplishment,” said Barry Gutin, Principal & Co-Founder. “We decided to mark the occasion throughout the rest of the year by offering some of our most popular dishes from our original menu with pricing from when we launched in 2000.”
In celebration of this milestone, Cuba Libre will offer guests a different appetizer and entrée each month at their original prices from the year dominated by Britney Spears, Eminem and the debut of Survivor. For example, in April guests can enjoy Chicharrones for $7.50, and Arroz con Pollo for $16. As a special bonus in April only, guests will enjoy $8 classic mojitos. In May, they’ll feature Sopa de Ajo con Pan for $6, and Camarones Enchilados for $20. The anniversary menu specials will rotate monthly through December 30, 2025, and will be available for guests with special 25th Anniversary dinner reservations Sundays through Thursdays at all four locations. Diners in Philadelphia can make 25th Anniversary reservations here.
For those seeking a premium experience, Cuba Libre is launching its 25th Anniversary Chef’s Tasting Menu – a four-course culinary exploration of Cuba for $49 per person (+$20 for beverage pairing featuring drinks with spirits as well as NA options):
