Center City District Restaurant Week Returns This May With More Than 60 Restaurants!
With the volume of pedestrians on Center City sidewalks steadily increasing and offices beginning to reopen, Center City District Restaurant Week returns in mid-May to reconnect regional residents and workers with their favorite dining locations. Beginning Monday, May 17 through Friday, May 28, more than 60 restaurants are partnering with the CCD to provide a safe and lively dining experience, indoors, outdoors or takeaway.
Prix fixe three-course dinners will be offered for $35 per person, as well as $20 three-course lunches at participating locations. Tax, gratuity and beverages are not included and CCD hopes that patrons will tip as generously as they are able. Guests may dine indoors (in accordance with City Health Department capacity guidelines), outdoors in a streetery or a café, or in their own homes by ordering takeout. Menu and reservation information for participating locations can be found at ccdrestaurantweek.com.
Participating restaurants include established favorites, such as Little Nonna’s or Bank & Bourbon, as well as newcomers, including Clementine’s Stable Café. This season, diners can also enjoy cocktails from Maker’s 46 and Roku Gin that complement the specialty Restaurant Week menus. Cocktails to-go will also be offered at select locations. Patrons have the opportunity to win dinner for a year by entering at ccdrestaurantweek.com.
Discounted parking will be offered to Restaurant Week diners for $9 or less at participating Philadelphia Parking Association and Philadelphia Parking Authority garages. Guests are encouraged to plan their transportation arrangements when making dinner reservations, or plan to access a digital parking voucher at ccdrestaurantweek.com. Restaurants will no longer provide tear-off parking vouchers on check inserts.
“As Center City continues to safely reopen, we look forward to welcoming back our regional and city residents to our restaurants,” said Michelle Shannon, Vice President of Marketing for Center City District. “For those who have not yet enjoyed our vibrant, yet socially distanced, streeteries, it’s a chance to come back to your favorite restaurants or try something new. We encourage guests to support our servers by tipping them generously.”
Participating restaurants must follow all CDC, City and State guidelines to ensure the safety of all guests. People who decide to dine out are asked to protect themselves and others by being responsible customers. Help keep workers safe by wearing a mask until it’s time to eat or drink. Stay six feet away from others when possible, and wash your hands often. Anyone who feels sick, or has come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, should stay home.
