Rooftop season is back in Philly and one the best views in the city is returning. In a recent statement, Bok Bar announced it will be reopening Thursday, April 10th and will be running through November 2nd.  Throughout the 2025 season Bok Bar will host a lineup of events and chef residencies featuring some of the best talent from the region. Expect crafted monthly menus, events, and of course killer sunsets.

Bok Bar’s menu will rotate each month, showcasing the culinary creations of seven different chefs: Little Fish (April), Darnel’s (May), Puyero Venezuelan Flavor (June), Gabriella’s Vietnam (July), Korea Taqueria (August), Sweet Amalia (September), and TBA (October).

Kicking off the season is Little Fish, led by Alex Yoon, a restaurant that has been thriving for nearly three decades. Chef Alexander Yoon’s menu is focused on fresh, creative takes on seasonal seafood. Recently, Little Fish was recognized as a semi-finalist for the 2025 James Beard Award for Outstanding Hospitality.

Back once again this year is Bok Bar’s free event series, featuring monthly dance classes including Salsa with DJ Big George and DJ VSpice and Boot Scoot line dancing with DJ Hugocito. Bok Bar is also excited to welcome back the award-winning Brittany Lynn and her Drag Mafia for monthly drag performances, and Bok community member KG Strong for their rooftop yoga series, with a percentage of proceeds supporting a different local nonprofit each month. Josh Lang and DJ Sylo (BWC Sounds) and Dave P. (Making Time) are also back for this year’s Summer Concert Series. A new addition to the lineup this year is The Club for Connection, hosted by DJ Yolo Ono from July to October, offering experiences that create meaningful connections with others through book swaps, poetry nights, guided meditations, and more. Event tickets are available at bokbar.ticketleap.com.

From April 10 to November 2nd Bok Bar is open to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm to 11:00pm, Fridays from 5:00pm to midnight, Saturdays from 2:00pm to midnight, and Sundays from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. The bar is open on a first-come, first-served basis, but a semi-private area can be reserved for large group gatherings. Inquiries can be submitted via the website: bok-bar.com.
