Assembly Rooftop Lounge is Hosting a Summer Launch Party Feat. Go Go Gadjet, Open Bar, Food, & More
If you’re looking for a chill rooftop spot with great views, Assembly Rooftop Lounge (1840 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.)has been a go-to for many. Now The Logan Hotel’s year-round chic rooftop cocktail bar and lounge is kicking off the summer season with its annual lavish party on Thursday, May 16th from 6 to 9 pm featuring a premium open bar, bites from the venue’s new imaginative events menu, live guest illustrations, glam photo booth, giveaways, and a live set by beloved PA-based entertainment machine Go Go Gadjet. Now that the weather is finally breaking., Assembly’s annual soirée is right on time to deliver classic summer vibes. Attendees can expect a premium open bar with a first taste of Assembly’s spring/summer cocktail menu, paired with bites from Executive Sous Chef Jacob Altemus’ brand-new events menu dubbed Assembly, Heightened, plus live guest illustrations by Denise Fike, a glam photobooth by Booths and Bashes Event Co. and a three-hour live set by high-energy DJ-cover band hybrid, Go Go Gadjet. Guests must be 21+ and must bring valid ID to enter.
“In lieu of a theme this year, Assembly is going back to its roots, welcoming guests into our refreshed posh indoor-outdoor space with a focus on upscale cocktail programming and light bites paired with unparalleled views of the city,” said Hannah Boothman, Food and Beverage Sales and Marketing Manager at The Logan. “We really wanted to focus on what we do well at Assembly and that’s creating elevated cocktails and shareable plates perfect for enjoying sunset views with friends. Guests at this year’s kickoff event will get a taste of this enhanced Assembly experience with bites from our new Assembly, Heightened events menu. We also completely revamped our every day 2024 food and beverage menus as well.”

Assembly’s new spring/summer 2024 food and beverage menu also received a revamp with highlights including Eggs and Caviar($14) deviled egg with American caviar, créme fraiche, chives; Octopus Toast ($15) baby octopus a la plancha, castelvetrano olives, pickled peppers, sourdough; Barbacoa Tacos ($18) with braised beef, avocado crema, radish, pickled red onion, cilantro and corn tortilla; Lobster Roll ($21). Plus, a selection of flatbreads, including the Calabria ($16) with pomodoro sauce, calabrian salami, housemade sausage, caramelized onions, mozzarella; and Elote ($15) with roasted sweet corn, cotija cheese, chili lime aioli, pickled reg onion and cilantro. Dessert includes a Dirty Chai Pot du Crème ($11) and Peaches and Cream Cheesecake ($13).
The summer cocktail list boasts a selection of berry and citrus-forward refreshments including the Sunset Spritz ($18) with Stoli Citrus vodka, Aperol, wild berry tea, fresh lemon, prosecco; Classic White Sangria ($16) mixing white rum, Giffard Peche liqueur, and crisp white wine infused with fresh fruits and citrus; and Mezcu Me ($18) with Bahnez mezcal, giffard d’espelette liqueur, cucumber, and fresh lime; Yogurt Punch ($19) with Ford’s Gin, Campari, dry vermouth, port wine and fresh lemon. The list wouldn’t be complete without its signature Frosé ($16) crafted with rosé wine, dry vermouth, Cocchi Rosa aperitif, strawberry, and fresh lemon, in line to be the quintessential summer cocktail. A selection of red, white, sparkling wine and beer round out the beverage list.
These food and beverage menus will be available all spring and summer at Assembly.
Assembly Rooftop Lounge is open daily at 4pm with kitchen closing at 11pm. The bar is open until 12am Sunday-Thursday and until close on Fridays and Saturdays. Happy hour is Sunday to Thursday 4-5pm. Assembly Rooftop Lounge is open for walk-ins based on availability. Parties of seven or less can make reservations here, with a cover charge of $10 per person. Larger parties of eight or more can also reserve one of Assembly’s pods for a food and beverage minimum. Pod reservations can be made by e-mailing [email protected].
