A Winter Wonderland Pop-Up is Coming to Prime Rib’s Library Bar Featuring Cocktails By Lê of Hop Sing Laundromat

This holiday season, guests of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia may mix, mingle, and get merry at the Winter Wonderland pop-up lounge at The Prime Rib Library Bar presented by Stella Artois for a limited time. In addition to the festive line-up of beers, guests may sip libations from one of Philadelphia’s most visionary cocktail minds, Lê of Hop Sing Laundromat, whose speakeasy was once recognized by Esquire as ‘one of the best Bars in America.’

To pair, a special menu of luxurious light bites from The Prime Rib’s Executive Chef Justin Nelson will also be offered. This reservations-only experience will welcome guests Wednesday through Saturday evenings, beginning Saturday, November 19 through Wednesday, January 4. Guests may book via Open Table here. “As the holiday season draws near, we’re signaled to gather and revel with friends and loved ones,” says Brian Uran, Vice President of Marketing at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. “The Prime Rib has always been a sought-after destination for celebrations. Now we’re adding a seasonal twist to the decadent, swanky experience for which we’re known, and our Library Bar is the perfect spot to host an immersive, secluded speakeasy that evokes the holiday spirit.”

The wintry white, icy oasis will take over The Prime Rib’s Library Bar, a semi-private space that will be accessible from Live!’s main lobby. The space will transform into a sophisticated speakeasy adorned with shimmering snowflakes, glistening faux snow, crystal curtains, and a twinkling disco ball. Bar seating and plush couches with end tables will be perfect for small groups or pairs.

From Chef Justin Nelson, an exquisite menu of seasonal tapas will be served including: Clams Casino with jumbo lump crabmeat, Red Wine-Braised Beef Short Rib, Maple Bourbon-Glazed Pork Belly, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tart. Prices will range from $17 to $24.

The custom menu from Lê will feature creative cocktails such as: “Tijuana’s Margarita” made with blanco tequila, ruby grapefruit syrup, Aperol, and lime; “G&G” made with gin, egg white, ginger syrup, lime, and lemon peel; “Fiji Coco” made with vodka, coconut, lime, lemon peel, and coconut shavings; “Kentucky Slugger” made with Basil Hayden, agave, lemon, orange peel; and “Baccarat” made with Toki, Pimm’s, cucumber syrup, and mint.
