The Philadelphia Rare Book Fair is Returning Featuring 60+ Exhibitors, Live Music, Food, Cocktails

Want to give the gift of literature this holiday season or perhaps you want to add to your personal collection?  Either way, The Philadelphia Rare Book Fair is Back with 60+ Vendors, live music, food, cocktails, and more. Think of it as a Scholastic Book Fair but for adults.

Each year The Philadelphia Rare Book Fair attracts hundreds of bookworms and seems to grow each year. In fact this year’s book fair will be taking place Thursday December 6th-8th at the 23rd Street Armory. The book fair will feature vendors from around the country selling a broad range of books and ephemera.

The opening reception taking place on December 6th will offer guests the opportunity to get first access to the books as well as cocktails, wine, and a live performance by Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket.  Tickets to the opening reception are $60 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Rosenbach Museum which houses nearly 400,000 rare books, manuscripts, and fine from some of the biggest names in literature.

Throughout the fair, you’ll have the opportunity to reserve ticket to see guests speakers including author Katherine Paterson who has penned over 40 books, discussions about Shakespeare with writer David Green, as well as a host of other creative discussions.

Tickets to The Philadelphia Rare Book Fair are available on finefairs.com
