Pay What You Want Improv Basics Workshop with Kelly Conrad
March 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Pay What You WantThis pay what you want, two hour workshop will teach you the building blocks of improv in a fun and supportive environment. You will learn a new skill, have fun, meet new people, and you will see that improv is not just for performers, but is for everyone.
The skills learned in our classes go beyond the stage and can benefit you in your everyday life and work! Fortune 500 companies are now routinely bringing in improv workshops to help build up their team members and their leaders. Improve communication, build self-confidence, think more positively, embrace collaboration, meet new people, and have more fun! These are just a few of the concepts we will touch on in this workshop through a series of fun exercises and games. Whether you have no performance aspirations or you are taking the first step on the journey to being a performer – this is for you!
We are offering this workshop as “pay what you want” with a suggested donation of $15. Your donation helps us with our ongoing operations as well as our student aid program and community efforts. If you would like to donate beyond this workshop and have your donation be tax deductible – you can! Crossroads is fiscally sponsored through Fractured Atlas, which allows them to accept tax deductible donations on our behalf. Visit our donation page for more information. We’re also looking for permanent space, so if you have spare building laying around let us know.
