The Manayunk Founders Freeze Out Will Feature 20+ Ice Sculptures, Food Trucks, a Chowder Crawl and More

The fall festival season may have ended but if you’re looking for a festival this winter, Manayunk has you covered. On Saturday February 3rd from 11 am to 4 pm, Manayunk will host the Founders Freeze Out in collaboration with Founders Brewing Co.

Guests attending will get to enjoy live ice carving demonstrations by Ice Sculpture Philly.  In addition there will also be 20+ intricate ice sculptures at various Manayunk businesses including JD Mcgillicuddy’s, La Roca, Lucky’s Last Chance, Manayunk Brewing Co., Mia Ragazza, New Leaf, Philadelphia Runner, The Animedic, The Goat’s Beard, Winnie’s Manayunk, and more.

For added entertainment look for activations from the Flyers street team as well as Chinese New Year lion dancers. Need to burn some calories? Philadelphia Runner will be hosting their traditional 3 mile run as well.

As with every year, The Manayunk Freeze Out will also have a chowder crawl featuring some of Manayunk’s best eateries serving up special chowder including Lucky’s Last Chance, Manayunk Brewing Co., Mia Ragazza, The Goat’s Beard, Winnie’s Manayunk, and more to be announced. The chowder crawl is ticketed with a $15 free. Tickets can be purchased here.

For those looking to enjoy some of the best food Manayunk has to offer, guests will be able to take advantage of many food and Founders Beer specials at participating bars. In addition food trucks will also be on-hand for additional options.

Last but not least, a winter market with over 15 artisan vendors will also be onsite with vendors such as Ash’s Attic (@ashsatticthrift), Fishtown Pickle Project (@fishtownpickles), G + RIZZ (@gandrizz), and Botanical Funk (@botanical_funk) and more to be announced. Local boutiques will also be offering Freeze Out specials.
