Several Popular Hispanic Businesses Will Vend Together at the Christmas Village to Sell Food, Art, Clothes & More
When it comes to Christmas season, the Latino culture is chock-full of traditions from foods, to La Parranda (caroling), to drinks such as coquito and more. Now serval popular Hispanic Philly-based businesses are looking to share holiday traditions from one kiosk at the Christmas Village in Love Park.
Vending from what will be called El Kiosko Navideño (The Christmas Kiosk) six plus vendors will rotate to provide shoppers with a variety of goods and services that include original art work, traditional dishes, and clothing all influenced from places such as Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela.
Organized by Esperanza Housing and Economic Development, El Kiosko Navideño will be located at booth number 12 located along the Northern (Arch Street) side of Love Park. “We are excited to share the Latino Holiday spirit in the heart of our city. With a population of 20% Latinos and a large regional presence we know Latinos should be included in events that show the best Philly has to offer. Additionally, we hope that people who may not know about how Latino culture is during the holidays, get a sneak peak into the festivities,” states Rafael Alvarez Febo, Vice President for Advocacy and Community Development for Esperanza.

Café Tinto -Nov. 27th-Dec.3rd, Dec. 11th-17th
Amy’s Pastelillos- Dec. 4th-10th, Dec. 18th-24th
Art by Sir. –Dec. 16th-17th, Dec. 23rd-24th
Latin Fashion – Nov. 18th-19th, Dec. 2nd-3rd
Association of Mexican Business Owners –Nov. 23rd – 26th
