Farina Di Vita is Hosting a Pop-Up With Paffuto Featuring Panzerottis & a South Philly Style Chopped Cheese

Okay foodies, here’s a unique food pop-up that has a little something for everyone. On Monday July 17th at 5 pm, Farina Di Vita (250 Catharine St.) will be hosting a pop up with Paffuto featuring some classic and unique menu items.

First on the menu, Farina Di Vita is putting a twist on the New York staple “chopped cheese.”   Those not familiar with the chopped cheese, it’s essentially a chopped up cheeseburger melt.

However, the South Philly version dubbed “The Wez & Deezy” after local foodies Dave Wez and Nick from Eats with Deezy, will feature Farina Di Vita’s homemade meatballs chopped cheese style with a black pepper Cooper sharp wiz and the customers choice of chopped longhots, broccoli rabe or candied sweets on a large 10-12inch Sarcone roll and will sell for $16.

Puffato in the meantime will be serving their Panzerotti, Scungili, a spring vedge Caesar salad, stuffed artichokes, rice pie and tiramisu. The full menu and prices will be listed on Farina Di Vita’s social media pages on Monday.  There will also be an option for 30 pre-registrations which will provide early access from 4 pm- 5 pm along with complementary glasses of wine and shots of limoncello.  After 5 pm everything is first come first served until they sell out.
