Preserves | Batch #2 Film Screening with Lino Kino and Da Vinci Art Alliance

Join us at The Open Kitchen Sculpture Garden in continuing our celebration of 16mm film with Philly-based media arts collective Lino Kino. This wide-ranging batch of experimental film dating from 1946 to 1984 seeks to portray movement as a full expression of the female body and the self. The camera meanders through rural and urban landscapes, from packed gatherings to isolated rooms where the choreography of pedestrian movement, social engagement and desire are as vital as the freedom found in dance.
