September 3rd is National Cinema Day and All Movies Will be $3 at Select Philly Theaters
If you’re looking for a cool and cheap outing this Labor Day Weekend, then you might want to hit the theaters. That’s right because on Saturday September 3rd all movies at select Regal and AMC theaters will be $3 all day long for the newly launched “National Cinema Day.”
The National Association of Theater Owners recently made the announcement of this nationwide discount that will be available to more than 3,000 theaters on over 30,000 screens. AMC and Regal are among the major theater chains that will be participating in National Cinema Day’s $3 bargain.
“After this summer’s record-breaking return to cinemas, we wanted to do something to celebrate moviegoing,” said Jackie Brenneman, Cinema Foundation president, in a statement. “We’re doing it by offering a ‘thank you’ to the moviegoers that made this summer happen, and by offering an extra enticement for those who haven’t made it back yet.” A full list of participating cinemas are available at NationalCinemaDay.org.
Participating Philly Theaters Include:
Regal UA Grant Plaza
AMC Neshaminy
AMC Franklin Mills Mall 14
AMC Woodhaven 10
