For quite some time Warehouse on Watts (923 N. Watts St.)  has been a major hub for Philly’s underground music scene. Now this Saturday Fold Theory is taking over W.O.W to create a rave atmosphere featuring a laser show, lighting, projections, and techno music by recording artist Shay de Castro, Miss Powers, and Kobza. Tickets are available here.

Kobza, will be the opening act and is a brand new artist on the scene. Ukrainian-born and Philly-based, she’s the newest addition to the Fold Theory resident artists and already getting a chance at the spotlight to fuel her growth.

Miss Powers is Fold Theory’s “boss-lady” and talent booker who selects the headlining acts. She doesn’t often put herself in the spotlight and it’s her first time opening for one of the artists she’s booked. Miss Powers asserts that her sound is the perfect fit for opening up for the star of the night and that she knew she just had to take the stage for this one. Deep dark techno not to be missed and a perfect segue into the main act; Shay de Castro.

Last but not least, Mexican-born, LA-based, label owner and producer extraordinaire, Shay de Castro will be making her Philly debut . “This talented techno artist has received exponential success as of late, consistently receiving support from the upper echelon of touring DJs. Having made her mark on various notable labels, she ignites crowds with her unique brand of trance-laced techno to get dancefloors thumping. High-energy and passionate about everything she does, you can usually find her on a skateboard, behind the decks, or in the studio. Her motto is ‘Life is made to be enjoyed,” Fold Theory states.

For those not familiar with Fold Theory they describe their movement as being “centered around the community and driven by a love of techno. We bring world-renowned artists and feature Philly local artists big and small to help grow the music scene here.”

See set times below:
