The Region’s Top B-Girls and B-Boys are Coming to Cherry Street Pier For Red Bull BC One
One of the biggest and most prestigious one-on-one breaking competitions is coming to Philly. Red Bull BC One is a global competition featuring the beast breakers in the world. Each year the top 16 B-Boys and the top 16 B-Girls battle it out to be crowned the champion.
On Saturady July 23rd, Cherry Street Pier will host a regional round where the area’s best B-Girls and B-Boys will battle it out for a chance to compete at the national finals in Los Angeles this September.
Philly’s Red Bull BC One will take place during the Tiny Room for Elephants Festival and will feature notable competitors including, Dosu, V-Nice and Flyya. Steve Believer will be hosting with music by DJ Yaks along with Skeme Richards.
A panel of respected breakers including Flea Rock, and Red Bull BC One All-Star and world champion Neguin will determine which 4 competitors from the regional cypher advance to Red Bull BC One National Finals in Los Angeles.
Doors open at 1 pm, prelims start at 2 pm and the main event will take place at 3 pm. Registration for this event is free and available here.
