For $50 You Can Watch All 10 Best Picture Nominees & Get Free Popcorn During PFS’s “Best Picture Week”
The Philadelphia Film Society (PFS) is excited to celebrate the wonderful year in film during the Best Picture Week at the Philadelphia Film Center. Catch all 10 of the Best Picture nominees from Monday, March 21 through Saturday, March 26 and then continue the celebration and see who will go home with the gold at the 9th Annual Oscars Party & Screening on March 27.
Cinephiles can watch the best films of the year on the biggest screen in Center City for one low price with the Best Picture Week Pass ($50 /$40 PFS Members) on sale now. Pass includes one (1) free small popcorn each day of the event. Tickets can be purchased here.
THE POWER OF THE DOG leads Oscar Nominations with a total of 12 nods including Best Picture and a Best Director nomination for Jane Campion. With the sci-fi adaptation DUNE coming in second with a total of 10 nods. PFF30 films BELFAST, DRIVE MY CAR, and KING RICHARD received several nominations in addition to being in the running for Best Picture.
Other top nominated films include DON’T LOOK UP, NIGHTMARE ALLEY, and WEST SIDE STORY, which all screened at either the PFS Bourse, PFS Drive-In at the Navy Yard or Philadelphia Film Center.
Between the Philadelphia Film Festival and year-round programming at the Bourse, Film Center, and Drive-In, as well as Member exclusive advance screenings, the Philadelphia Film Society brought 22 Academy Award-nominated films to Philadelphia, with a total of 67 nominations between them.

CODA | 6:30 PM
