Eat Your Way Through The Weekend!!!
If you live in Philly and love food, this weekend will be like the Super Bowl and Christmas all rolled into one!!! There’s not one but two huge foodie events happening this weekend. On Saturday, head to the PA Convention Center Hall F (12th and Arch Street) for the Philly Farm and Food Fest (PF3), the country’s largest single-day local food festival.
On Saturday between 11 AM and 4 PM, head to the PA Convention Center Hall F (12th and Arch Street) for the Philly Farm and Food Fest (PF3), the country’s largest single-day local food festival.
PF3 gives Philadelphians the chance to connect with the area’s makers and artisans, find a new favorite locally made food product, sign up for a CSA at the CSA Pop-Up Shop, chat with the region’s outstanding farmers, and celebrate the area’s food community.
There’s plenty to eat and do. This year’s event promises the biggest Kids Corral yet, over a dozen local cheesemakers at the Curd Convention, and the brand new Cider Town. Cheese, Cider and cute animals, now that’s a party. CLICK HERE for more info on the Philadelphia Food and Farm Fest.
You’ll probably be in a food coma until Sunday after eating your way through PF3, which will be just enough time to recover for a second round of eating at the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival.
The Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival is a kickoff celebration to Manayunk Restaurant Week. During Manayunk Restaurant week, diners can get three courses meals for either $15, $25, or $35.
This year’s festival, taking place from 11AM-5PM, will have over 50 of Philadelphia’s best food trucks and gourmet food vendors. It’s so big that they are closing down Main street. You’ll find everything from cannolis from Cannolis World to Asian-fusion from Dump-N-Roll to Spicy Fried Chicken tacos from the Revolution Taco’s new truck which will make its debut at Sunday’s festival.
