Dos y Mas

Turn up the heat with an eclectic musical journey rooted in percussive traditions from all around the world. Celebrate Hispanic heritage with Dos y Mas (Two and More), an explosive ensemble comprised of two Cuban-born musicians: percussionist Arturo Stable and pianist Elio Villafranca.
North Philly Block Party

Head north for a neighborhood celebration with Open Source artists Keir Johnston and Ernel Martinez, right next to the artists’ pop-up community bodega space, which explores the intersection of the Latino and African American communities in North Philadelphia. Developed in partnership with our friends at AL DÍA News Media, WXPN, AfroTaino Productions, and Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas, this afternoon block party is the perfect way to get to know the neighborhood and the people who live there. Enjoy treats from local shops, interact with the artists and their work, and enjoy a live concert of world music.
Hispanic Choice Awards

Established in 2004, the Hispanic Choice Awards is an annual celebration with an aim to unite, strengthen and acknowledge Latino professionals in the Philadelphia region.
The Puerto Rican Day Parade
Oct. 4th | Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Concilio’s Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade is the “Crown Jewel” of the Puerto Rican Festival every year. It is one of the first ethnic parades to ever be televised in Philadelphia. In addition to the hundreds of people gathered on the parkway, the parade continues to offer a live televised portion for an additional 96,000 viewers who tune in for a vibrant display of cultural pride. Youth groups, community organizations, local and regional schools, corporate sponsors, popular artists and many others across the tri‐state region participate in making this parade a true showcase of Puerto Rican and Latino Culture.
