Delaware County Symphony Presents Musique Française Symphony Concert

Gabriel Fauré’s evocative suite from Pelléas et Mélisande opens the program, with its atmospheric beauty and expressive lyricism. Pianist Clare Longendyke, whose performances are notable for bringing together technical excellence, artistry, and her charismatic stage presence, takes the stage for Maurice Ravel’s dazzling Piano Concerto, a brilliant fusion of classical refinement, rhythmic vitality, and vibrant color. The concert concludes with Georges Bizet’s beloved L’Arlésienne Suites Nos.1 & 2, showcasing the composer’s gift for melody, drama, and unforgettable orchestral storytelling.
