On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Screen Screamin’ turns Philly into the campus of Netflix’s A Different World, staging a citywide watch party across five venues reimagined as Hillman College. It’s a toast to HBCU legacy and Divine Nine culture, made personal by two of the show’s writers being Lincoln University grads, one of them Philly’s own.
The main event at Avana will be hosted by R&B singer Beano French, and feature DJ AMH.
