Camerata Philadelphia – 21 Season Premier with the Mendelssohn Family

CAMERATA PHILADELPHIA – begins its 2026/2027 Center City Season at Church of the Holy Trinity Rittenhouse Square (1904 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103) on Saturday, September 12 @ 1:00 PM.

Led by Music Director & cellist Dr. Stephen Framil, the program theme is the Mendelssohn Family – Felix, Fanny, & Paul: including Sonata in C minor for Viola & Piano, selected vocal lieder, Variations concertantes for Cello & Piano, and the Piano Quartet No. 2 in F minor; and features Opera Philadelphia violinist Gared Crawford, Philly Pops violist Sarah Sutton, Washington Oper mezzo-soprano Kyle Engler, and Washington Adventist University music department chair & piano professor Dr. Daniel Lau.
