Philadelphia’s “Beacon on Broad Street” invites the city to a free, public Black History Month celebration on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Accessible via SEPTA, the event features music, spoken word, dramatic performances, and a ceremonial processional honoring Tindley Temple’s historic role in faith, culture, and civil rights.
Tindley history is Black history; and the city is invited to witness it.
