Virgin Airlines has announced they will no longer fly in and out of Philly starting Oct. 6th. Virgin spokeswoman Jennifer Thomas was quoted as saying “This came down to opportunity cost, and in short, the chance to expand new sercice on multiple routes. [other cities] offered a better network and revenue opportunity for our airline in the short term.”
Sources have stated that other cities such as Washington D.C and Dallas will most likely start hosting Virgin hubs at their airports.
We suggest getting your tickets fast. If you have a flight scheduled after Oct. 6th contact Virgin Airlines and you will be reimbursed.
