ROYAL BOUCHERIE CELEBRATES SPRING WITH FUN BURLESQUE EVENT “PETALS & PASTIES”

Royal Boucherie, (52 S 2nd) Old City’s American-inspired brasserie from Top Chef winner Chef Nicholas Elmi, is excited to host Petals & Pasties, a lively French-inspired burlesque event on Thursday, April 25 from 8 pm to 10 pm.

Guests are invited to enjoy sparkling costumes and burlesque dance performances from three Philadelphia icons – Ginger Leigh, Margo Starlux and Mustang Mayhem – while sipping delicious cocktails from Bar Manager Eziquiel Rudy’s new spring cocktail menu. Tickets are available for $35 and include two drinks as well as six sensational performances in the upstairs Parlour Room.

“We’re thrilled to host another burlesque event at Royal Boucherie,” said Executive Director of Operations, Suzanne O’Brien. “We’ve always wanted Royal Boucherie to be a unique home for food, drink and especially fun. Petals & Pasties celebrates the release of our Spring cocktail menu and our love of local Philadelphia based performing arts. The show will not disappoint!”

Additional food and drink options will be served, including a so-called “Stigner”, made with Salignac cognac, Napoleon VSOP Armagnac and Menthe-Pastille or “The Other One”; an Olmeca Altos Blanco tequila creation with pamplemousse rose, Campari, lime juice and ginger syrup. Royal Boucherie’s famous food classics like the Duck Cassoulet and the beloved Boucherie Burger – bacon, American cheese, truffle mayo, half-sour pickles, and pork-fat fries – will be available as well that night.
