If you haven’t heard by now there’s a new luxury apartment complex set to be completed in 2016. Construction has begun at Rodin Square which is located at the 500 block of N. 22nd St. n what many are describing a real estate boom in Philly it is one of several luxury apartment buildings that will open in 2016. The new unit will be named The Dalian on Fairmount. The name derives from the Dalian Development and International Financial Company, which is the company behind the development of this massive $160 million dollar complex.
What sets The Dalian on Fairmount apart from the other luxury apartment complexes is both its amenities and its location. Located within a stones throw from the Benjamin Franklin Park, The Dalian will be in an area that has seen a slow pace of development within the last few years. While other hotspots such as Northern Liberties, Fishtown, and North Broad St. have been making waves in the real estate world, the Art Museum section of the city has been relatively quiet.
If you are interested in what The Dalian has to offer, for starters this 10 story building will include a 55,000 Sq. Ft. Whole Foods with a 5,000 sq. ft care located inside the popular market. On the opposite side of the building will be an 11, 000 sq. ft. CVS. Although it hasn’t leased all of its commercial space out, in total The Dalian will boast 85,000 sq. ft of commercial space.
Above the commercial space, there will be 293 luxury apartment units. Tenants will enjoy hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows, as well as sweet amenities such as media room, billiards room, and clubroom lounge. As for outside space, residents will also get to enjoy a 35,000 sq. ft rooftop park complete with an infinity edge pool. Other cool add-ons include an indoor/outdoor heated cabana complete with flatscreen TVs and outdoor kitchen. In case you were wondering who gets the use the outdoor kitchen, no worries as there will be plenty of grills on hand for tenants.
No word yet on the prices of the units but we expect lofty prices when The Dalian on Fairmount opens its door next year.
