Ryan Block was with Comcast customer for 9 years so when he called the company headquartered in Philadelphia to cancel his service it would be normal to expect some kind of effort on their end to keep him happy and satisfied. However, as you will hear in the recorded phone call above, the customer service agent took exception to Ryan’s decision to cut ties with the cable giant.
In this 8 minute phone call which Block states was recorded about 10 minutes in, the Comcast agent continues to berate Ryan with rebuttals and aggressive tactics to try and keep Ryan with Comcast. This call almost has the feel of the old phone prank shows like Crank Yankers or the Jerky Boys. Since the call has been released to the public Comcast has released an apology statement.
