City Tap House Hosts NFL Playoff Watch Party & 100th Anniversary Girl Scout Celebration!
So, what’s better than football and pizza? Football, pizza, and Pizza Boy Brewing Co.!
City Tap House University City is hosting a NFC and AFC championship game watch party this Sunday, January 22, from 3-11pm.
Football fans will enjoy a slew of Pizza Boy Brewing Co. drafts, including Pizza Boy Blueberry Sour, Pizza Boy Extreme Mango (Triple IPA), Pizza Boy Honeycrip, Pizza Boy Legendairy Peach- Milkshake IPA, Pizza Boy Legendairy Pineapple- Milkshake IPA, Pizza Boy Raspberry Sour and more!
In addition to the brews, guests will enjoy specialty pizzas inspired by the four remaining teams (image attached):
- Atlanta ($17) – pulled rib meat, pickled red onion, Georgia bbq sauce, fried long hots, smoked cheddar béchamel
- Pittsburgh ($17) – sliced roast beef, sweet & sour vinegar slaw, roasted tomatoes, provolone, hand cut fries, sliced pickles
- New England ($18)- butter braised lobster and crab, roasted leek béchamel, brioche croutons, yellow tomatoes, sliced garlic
- Green Bay ($16) – kielbasa, sautéed peppers and onions, cheddar sauce, kraut
In addition to the NFL watch party ….
City Tap House University City and Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania are joining forces to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the local Girl Scout Council with “A Girl Scout Night Out!”featuring cookies, cocktails and prizes on Monday, January 23rd, from 5 to 8 pm.
City Tap House will be serving a $10 specialty S’mores cocktail as well as a limited edition cookie dessert in honor of the new S’mores flavored cookie added to the Girl Scout cookie line-up this year! Two dollars from every cocktail sold will be donated to the Girl Scouts.
Guests will enjoy happy hour drink specials, including $4 Select Craft Beer, $6 House Red and White Wine, and $6 Sangria.
City Tap House and Yard’s Brewing Co. Collaboration Cookie Swap Weizenbock, brewed with molasses and fresh ginger – a ginger snap in a glass – will also be pouring from the taps.
Guests will also have a chance to win fun Girl Scout prizes, a $25 Cit Tap gift card, or even a trip to Las Vegas for two!
