Sometimes in the winter we feel a primal urge for large quantities of everything. That’s why Percy Street Barbecue (900 South Street, 215-625-8510) is bringing back All-You-Can-Eat Ribs. The weekly deal includes limitless ribs, french fries, coleslaw and cornbread for $27 per person from 5pm to close, every Wednesday beginning January 7, 2015 and continuing until we say Uncle.
Chef and co-owner Erin O’Shea cures St. Louis-style pork ribs overnight with sugar and salt before smoking them with red oak and braising with chipotle, root beer and orange juice. When you order, your ribs hit the wood-fired grill to be glazed with housemade Old Faithful barbecue sauce for a lip-tingling finish.
In addition to All-You-Can-Eat Ribs on Wednesday nights, Percy Street will be celebrating Meat Week from January 18 through 30. Share a family-style spread of BBQ chicken, pulled pork, smoked beef brisket, cornbread, macaroni & cheese and a bevy of classic barbecue sides for $20 per person.
