Not sure if it’s a “thing of the past” there was definitely a time were friends gathered and met at pool halls and did a little of what was known as “socializing.” (Oh wait, now I remember what happened, smartphones happened) Unfortunately over the years many popular pool halls have since closed down leaving many pool sharks to swim in the shallow waters of local bars.
